Leadership: David Wu has consistently fought for all aspects of the environment throughout his time representing Oregon’s 1st district. In his 11 years in office Representative Wu has made preserving the environment one of his main priorities; focusing on investment in innovative technology for a clean energy future, fighting offshore drilling in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge where he has succeeded so far, reducing both plant and auto emissions in order to reduce pollution, and especially working to preserve the Pacific Salmon that are so important for the livelihood of West Coast fisheries.
